Warden is responsible for launching a replacement JobTracker on one of the other standby nodes. Warden leverages ZooKeeper to make sure that there's always one active JobTracker in the cluster. The TaskTrackers will automatically connect to the new JobTracker and report the status of all tasks that are running or have completed.
