Is it safe to upgrade directly from 1.1.3 to version 1.2.3, skipping 1.2.0 and 1.2.2? I was planning on doing this as a manual upgrade.

Updating for posterity... I did a rolling upgrade instead of a manual one. Working well so far. @MC Srivas, is the rolling upgrade script the one you referred to as the "upgrade script" in your response?

Yes, you can go from 1.1.3 to 1.2.3 ... prefer if you use the upgrade script in the 1.2.3 release (the upgrade script is to be run while the cluster is running). There are new features introduced even in minor releases, and the upgrade script knows what to do at the end of each upgrade. Please let us know if you hit any problems.

Does using the upgrade script in 1.2.3 imply using different instructions than what is given here? http://mapr.com/doc/display/MapR/Manual+Upgrade

Or should I follow those instructions and then look for the upgrade script at the end of the process?
